Introducing the Page Not Found Thesis Award 2023
Page Not Found is thrilled to announce the launch of its Thesis Award for this year! Theses are seldom accessible due to their limited production, but are often remarkable works. This Award aims to celebrate these publications, and promote among them an outstanding work, for the quality of its research and its publishing. Respectively, the recipient of the Award will see their thesis (re)published by Page Not Found in a larger edition, and professionally distributed to bookshops.
In 2021, the inaugural award was presented to Annemarie Wadlow for her thesis “Women Looking at Women Looking at Women — Reclaiming Histories of Women in the Arts and Proposing Models to Facilitate Future Friendships”.
Her book was republished in a limited edition of 500 copies, and is distributed worldwide. Notably, “Women Looking at Women Looking at Women” was included in the prestigious selection of the Best Dutch Book Designs 2022 and was shortlisted for the Best Book Design from all over the World 2023.
To ensure equal opportunity for all graduates, the Page Not Found team has decided to run an open call for submissions this year. Before applying, we kindly invite you to carefully review the Thesis Award Rules. Here are some essential points to remember:
